Worship Times & Styles

Sunday Worship
8:00 am A service for those who desire worship with few of the traditions. A praise team leads the congregation in singing worship songs selected between Christian Rock and the Hymnal. The pastor provides an inspirational, instructional message. The ususal attire is New Mexico casual, although dress-up is never inappropriate. Duration is commonly one hour.
9:00 am Time for conversation and socializing in the Fellowship Hall, complete with delicious refreshments, followed by the Sunday School class of your choice.
10:30 am A service for those who desire to retain the traditions. This service includes the singing of Hymnal-based songs, a musical selection provided by a robed choir, and a Psalm reading. The pastor provides an inspirational, instructional message. The attire is more dress-up, although New Mexico casual is never discouraged. Duration is commonly one hour.
Wednesday
5:00 pm Wednesday Night LIVE (WNL) is an evening of food, fellowship, and study.
  • We gather at 5 pm in the Fellowship Hall for a BYOB (Bring Your Own Brown-bag) meal and lively conversation.

  • Then at 6 pm we break into small classes, typically five in number although this can be variable, to discuss identified topics.

    • The classes are one hour in length and last for eight consecutive weeks. A break of two weeks is common before the start of another WNL session. Please check the church calendar to see if a WNL session is in progress on any specific date.
